Want to Complete a Triathlon This Year?

We're getting the blog up and running.........where everyone can share posts, motivational pictures and training times. Here are a few links to get you started:

http://www.danskintriathlon.net/Home_Page.html

The tentative dates for the Danskin Tri are July 24/25, 2010 (I think that means registration is planned for the 24th and the race is on the 25th)

(You can select a state and then a date range on this site)

First things first. You've been added to this email list through your interest last year, or through a current triathlete. Please email me at donnafashion@comcast.net if you want to be removed from the list. Otherwise, it's time to get excited and plan for 2010! What that means right now, is:
  • get back out there - start by walking!
  • try to keep late Wednesday nights and early Saturday mornings clear on your calendars from February onward
  • the Danskin event is meant for EVERY woman to achieve, if she wants to. There are women of ALL fitness levels who complete this event, e.g. you have the option to do one leg of the event as a relay team member. You don't even need to belong to a gym - you can swim at pools like Milford High School and train on a bike by putting any bicycle on a stand in your home! When you sign up for the Danskin race, you also have the option to be assigned a personal mentor.
  • For now, there is a group running on Wednesday and Friday mornings at the Y at 5:15 a.m. and Saturdays at 6:30 a.m. More training times to follow!
Enjoy the parties tonight and tell all of your friends this is YOUR year to do a Triathlon!!!!
